The Illinois Biodiversity Field Trip Grant supports field trips focused on the state’s natural resources and biodiversity. Eligible trips must align with biodiversity topics in the applicant’s curriculum and take place at least 75% outdoors. Agricultural and historical field trips are excluded, and the trip site must be within Illinois. This grant provides students with an opportunity to explore and understand the variety of life in their local environment.
