Located in New Glarus, Wisconsin, the Swiss Historical Village & Museum offers students an immersive experience into the lives of Swiss immigrants during the 19th century. The museum features 14 artifact-filled buildings, including a settler’s cabin, schoolhouse, and blacksmith shop, each meticulously restored to reflect the era’s authenticity.
Field trips to the Swiss Historical Village include guided tours where students can explore these historic structures and learn about Swiss heritage, pioneer life, and traditional crafts.
