The Sacred Heart University Discovery Science Center & Planetarium in Bridgeport is a hub of hands-on learning. The facility includes a 33-foot dome for immersive, full-dome planetarium shows, where students can experience everything from the history of Ancient Egypt to space-age discoveries. The planetarium’s use of state-of-the-art Digistar 7 technology provides real-time cosmic visualizations, allowing students to explore topics such as space travel, the solar system, and earth science in a way that’s both educational and engaging.
