Sample Itinerary for ORLANDO

Orlando is the ultimate destination for student travel! It is known for its world-famous theme parks like Disney World and Universal Studios, and so much more. Orlando offers endless excitement and educational opportunities. From thrilling rides and spectacular shows to interactive exhibits and behind-the-scenes tours, students will experience a perfect blend of fun and learning. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure in the heart of Florida!

The main theme parks in Orlando are Disney, Universal, Sea World, and Discovery Cove. For this itinerary, I am going to stick with Disney and Universal, but the possibilities are endless.

Day-by-Day Itinerary Details



STEAM/STEM and performance opportunities for groups at both parks!

DAY 1: Welcome to Orlando! The Theme Park Capital of the World.

  • Orientation meeting with your experienced Student Tours by Vacation Group trip host.
  • Check into your Orlando area hotel.
  • Explore Disney Springs, an eclectic mix of unique shops, one-of-a-kind restaurants, and lively entertainment.
  • Dinner at Planet Hollywood.

DAY 2: Disney World

  • Start the day with breakfast at your hotel.
  • Disney World has four theme parks to explore; get out your walking shoes!
  • Magic Kingdom – The world’s most visited theme park.
  • Hollywood Studios – Where reality blends with fantasy.
  • Animal Kingdom – A blend of traditional theme park elements with hundreds of live animal exhibits.
  • EPCOT – A theme park designed both to entertain and to educate.

We recommend park hopper tickets so you can take advantage of every minute in the parks. Visit Animal Kingdom in the morning, hop over to Epcot for lunch, catch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom, or Fantasmic in Hollywood Studios.

DAY 3: Disney World

  • EPIC UNIVERSE – Celestial Park
  • The Wizarding World of Harry Potter–Ministry of Magic
  • Super Nintendo World
  • How to Train Your Dragon–The Isle of Berk
  • Dark Universe

Volcano Bay Water Park – 18Incredible Attractions.

We recommend park-to-park tickets so you can get the full Harry Potter experience…ride the Hogwarts Express between Studios and Islands!

Dinner at Margaritaville or Hard Rock Café in Universal’s CityWalk. Known as the “Epicenter of Awesome,” this vibrant entertainment complex offers an array of dining, shopping and entertainment options.

DAY 5: Universal Studios

  • Start the day with breakfast at your hotel.
  • Check out your Orlando hotel.
  • Universal Studios has four parks to discover:
  • Universal Studios – Ride the Movies.
  • Islands of Adventure – The Stuff Legends are Made Of.
  • EPIC UNIVERSE-Celestial Park
  • The Wizarding World of Harry Potter–Ministry of Magic
