The Ticket to Ride Program provides funding to offset travel costs for Maine schools visiting arts-based venues and events as part of a well-rounded curriculum. Trips must align with the Maine Learning Results Visual and/or Performing Arts standards, augment specific curriculum goals, and enhance student learning. Schools can apply throughout the year, with funding available approximately one month after submission. Schools may apply multiple times annually if attending different events or serving new student groups, as funds allow.
