Summary

Illinois History Field Trip Grants offer funding for preK-12 teachers to take students to explore the state’s rich historical heritage. Eligible trips must align with Illinois history topics currently taught in the curriculum and take place at approved destinations listed on the grant application. Geological and biological field trips are not eligible and cannot be combined with historical trips; applicants seeking funding for those subjects should apply for the Illinois Biodiversity Field Trip Grant.
