Learning in Our Watershed (LIOW) connects K-12 students with the Cache la Poudre River National Heritage Area, offering opportunities to explore its people, places, heritage, and natural habitats. Designed to extend learning beyond the classroom, LIOW fosters student well-being and a connection to nature through outdoor experiential education. Educators planning field trips along the Poudre River corridor can apply for grants to cover costs for transportation or admission at sites within the Cache NHA, supported by partnerships with local museums and organizations.
