Immersive Experiences
The Muhammad Ali Museum features immersive exhibits on his career and his life’s principles. Walk through The Greatest Timeline exhibit for an overview of his boxing career, spanning two decades. Watch his career highlights, including some of his most famous boxing matches and his Olympic torch-bearer run from 1996. Then take a seat and reflect on the core principles that guided his life and explore the six interactive pavilions of spirituality, conviction, confidence, dedication, giving, and respect. For a hands-on boxing lesson, visit the Train with Ali exhibit, featuring a boxing ring, speedbag, and shadow boxing.
Educational Opportunities
Field trips provide students with a guided tour highlighting the history of social justice, diversity, and personal growth found here. Two unique field trip options are available. The Titleholder experience is a two-hour self-guided trip through all of the museum’s exhibits. It contains an orientation from educated staff highlighting the key points of focus. Groups can choose to follow an itinerary or explore the museum exhibits freely. The Champion experience is a three-hour guided tour and classroom experience.
Scavenger hunts engage students as they wind through the museum’s permanent and special exhibitions. After their museum tour, students receive a classroom lesson on the Civil Rights Movement, civics and citizenship, or Muhammad Ali’s six core principles, taught by a team of professional educators on site. Both field trip programs align with Kentucky academic standards.

Inspired students can also get involved in the center’s Youth Leadership Programs, fostering empowerment and hope for their role in social justice and community change. The center encourages students passionate about social justice to become the next generation of leaders for positive change in the world.
