TOP OF THE ROCK LOST CANYON CAVE®

Tickets for the Ancient Ozarks Natural History Museum are included with your cave trail ticket, so there is no need for two separate bookings. This location is ideal for overnight trips, but it is not mandatory. The cave trail tour is self-guided using four-seater golf carts. This means many golf carts and one adult per 3 kids, since you must be 18 or older to drive the carts on the trail.
Learning Opportunities
During the 2.5-mile loop TOP OF THE ROCK LOST CANYON CAVE® trail tour, you will learn about rock formations, conservation, geological history and regional history. The tour features nine beautiful waterfalls, lake views, an outlook, and an Ozark view skybridge. Once you reach the museum, you will be shocked by the number of prehistoric creatures, American West galleries, Civil War showcases, Native American artifacts and artworks.
When booking for multiple days, you can customize your experience and choose different team-building activities, such as archery tag, cornhole, bowling, lawn games, a pirate treasure scavenger hunt, pottery painting and more.
At the Ancient Ozarks Natural History Museum, groups can explore prehistoric creatures, cultural art, Civil War artifacts and local Ozark history. Students can ascertain ancient history through carbon-dated skeletons of Missouri creatures, glimpse dioramas of animals that once roamed the land, engage with interactive displays and explore Native American and Osage Indian artifacts and creations.
