The Cosmosphere’s extensive collection of space artifacts, including the Apollo 13 Command Module and other significant items from the history of space travel, make it an ideal and intriguing destination for educational outings.
For schools planning field trips, the Cosmosphere provides a variety of educational resources aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards. These include interactive exhibits and workshops that cover topics like rocketry, living in space, and the science of flight. Students not only learn about these topics but also get to apply their knowledge through live science demonstrations, hands-on activities, and exploration of the museum’s exhibits.
